His story thus far:

Martha Green has been married to Russell Green for seventeen years. After two miscarriages, the couple thought it would be impossible to have a child. One day, Russell confronted Martha about a new procedure which could make it so they could have a successful child birth. She had the procedure, done by Vincent Gross. The two had a son. They named him Kevin. But what Martha did not know was that the procedure done to her did more then just allow her to have a child, but also implanted the necessary genetic codes to create Prime in the body of their son, Kevin. Colonel Samuels, who recommended the procedure be done, told Russell, then under his command, that the procedure was part of a new government experiment to increase a human’s strength and stamina by changing their genetic codes. He was not, however, told that this change would result in Prime. Meanwhile, Russell kept the government experiment planned on Kevin a secret from Martha, not wanting her to worry about any problems which could resort in their child. In recent days, Russell’s and Martha’s marriage has been shaken. With two long jobs, Russell as a chemical engineer and Martha as a real estate agent, the two have seen less and less of eachother. But recently, Kevin has been disappearing for long periods of times. And Martha knows Russell knows what is going on, but Russell won’t say.

Now, the future of their marriage and their family is uncertain.  Martha has moved her son and herself to New York City with her sister, Ruth, away from Russell, so that she can rethink her life or just start it over.
