Plot: Warlock offers Mephisto to surrender but Mephisto attacks him with hellfire and turns him into a statue of ashes. Pip disappears as the Silver Surfer faces Mephisto. He soon realizes he cannot match him and asks for negotiations. He offers his soul in exchange for Shalla Bal's. Mephisto rejects his offer claiming he no longer craves his soul and promises to make Shalla Bal's soul suffer greatly to enjoy the torment it will cause the Surfer. One by one, Pip teleports the Watch to attack Mephisto but all are defeated by him. Just when Mephisto thinks he has won, Adam Warlock breaks his prison much to Mephisto's surprise. Once again he offers Mephisto to surrender or face the power of the soul gem. Mephisto accepts the challenge of pitting the Ebon Depths against the infinity gem.

Concluded in Silver Surfer/Warlock #4

Comments: The story is good, the art is alright. Nice ending with Adam challenging Mephisto!
