DOUG MASCARO writes concerning the first issue of the
Cosmic Powers Unlimited fanzine:
I think this site is fantastic! I have always been a huge fan of cosmic marvel. My
favorite character is Captain Marvel ever since Jim Starlin wrote him back in the 70's.
Also, I am very angry that there is a new Warlock series, but it is not THE one true
Warlock. We the cosmic fans know that more cosmic titles are needed but it is just not
happening. This seems like a good outlet to read cosmic marvel stories and I will check in
often. Thanks.
Thanks for the comments Doug! Look for an upcoming Cosmic Powers Unlimited story with the original Captain Marvel! Be sure to also check out this website's upcoming resource center dealing with the classic and new Captain Marvel. To participate in writing articles, reviews, and profiles for that new site, e-mail me at marvelite@email.com --James Pedrick
Morfex, writer of Star Masters, Power Cosmic, and
various other CPU stories writers concerning Cosmic Powers Unlimited #1:
Call me biased, but I think Lord Thanos has done a great job with the cover! I can't wait
to see who will be on the cover of #2! Get it, Grim? Number Two!
Morfex is right about Lord Thanos's pictures, they are fantastic! But if you think they are cool, just wait until you see his upcoming Interstellar Avengers fan fiction, which is the closest thing you will ever see to a comic book on the Internet! --James Pedrick
Tim Palmer writes concerning Cosmic Union Part 1:
I really enjoyed this and you can look forward to seeing me read the future stories to
come as well. I hope you give the Avengers a nice role in this.
Well thanks, Panther. Nice to know our story is
being enjoyed. We certainly enjoyed making it. --Mystic
Thank you, Tim! Captain America, Quasar, Moondragon and Thor do have important roles, and
the rest have cameos. Starfox, Giant Man and Mantis also make appearances. If you like
your Avengers to be cosmic, check out Lord Thanos' upcoming fanfic "Interstellar
Avengers." -- Morfex
Tim Palmer writes concerning the Protectors of the
Universe:
Wow. Marvel needs to take some ideas from this. These would be really cool teams! I hope
you write more of them.
I've been telling them that for years! :^) Seriously, a lot of thought went into the teams' line-ups. But suggestions are always appreciated, so write back soon! -- Morfex
Matt Hamilton, writer of Silver Surfer Volume 1, writes
concerning Tales of the Timeless Part 1:
True to form, Azmodi. You are truly a force to be reckoned with!!
Thanks, Matt! --Azmodi
Tim Palmer writes concerning Tales of the Timeless Part
1:
I love these characters! I really liked Century most and how you used Immortus. He was
cool in Avengers Forever, please use him more!
We'll see, Tim, we'll see... --Azmodi
Niklas writes concerning Supergirl Part 1:
Nice, well-written story! Hope to see a continuation soon.
Thanks! And keep reading CPU! Kara is in the Marvel Universe to stay! (at least here in this corner of it) Both parts of the story (of which The Resurrection is the first part) have been completed. It will take many issues of CPU to publish all of it so keep reading and keep telling us what you think of our stories (authors have to have their egos stroked once in a while ya know.) --Dylan Clearbrook
Siew Yee Kit write concerning Supergirl Part 1:
Fantastic! It's definitely a story I will look forward to every update.
Thanks! It seems as if the Supergirl chapters are going to be posted with every other issue of CPU. However don't count on it <smile> Read every issue! --Dylan Clearbrook
Harker, frequent contributor at the Silver Surfer
Message Board, writes concerning Red-Rooter Part 1&2:
Omigawd I can't tell you how funny that was. That story was well conceived and brilliantly
executed. Yes, indeed write more of these!!! No wonder Red doesn't post on this board any
more:)
Thank you, Harker! I'll think about writing more 'Red' stories. Mystic, also thinks I should write more and has suggested some villains for me to use. I'll have to see.A lot of people said that they liked 'em even better than the Drunk Thanos stories. --Grim
Kron writes concering The More Things Change:
Awesome .....story! For once since the twilight saga ...a story that actually seems to be
heading somewhere!
Thanks! Speaking of the Twilight War... I hear a sequel may be coming out in the very near future... --James Pedrick
Grim, writer of Red-Rooter Part 1&2, writes
concerning The More Things Change:
Excellent story! Good and getting better!
Agreed! --James Pedrick
P. BOOKER writes concerning Cosmic Union Part 2:
SO FAR I VERY MUCH ENJOY THE STORY LINE AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT CHAPTER. I AM
ALSO LOOKING FORWARD TO FINDING OUT JUST WHAT IT IS THAT THANOS IS SCHEMING UP THIS TIME
AND WHAT HIS ACCOMPLICES' WILL DO IF AND WHEN THEY DISCOVER HIS NEFARIOUS MACHINATIONS
TOWARDS' EVEN THEM!!
Ahhh! A Thanos lover. Most of the writers of this epic were Thanos lovers also, so you can believe we focused on doing him justice (unlike a certain writer whose name rhymes with maid). ;) --Mystic
Thunder writes concerning Super-Skrull: Gods and
Monsters:
Good story, but when you said short story, you meant it! Is it a prelude to something
bigger? you've whetted my appetite! Super Skrull is one of my favorite characters.
I think we may have to change the last part to say "To Be Continued..?" Instead of "The End." Who wants to see the evolution of the Celestial War, "Who Judges the Judges?" --Morfex
Karza writes concerning JLA/Galactus Part 1:
I think the story is going nicely and I'm sure I'll be back to see how it ends.
I hope you are, because part 2 is out now and I hear Lord Thanos is working on a JLA/Galactus cover for CPU's Issue #6 too! --James Pedrick
Tim Palmer writes concerning JLA/Galactus Part 1:
It's about time someone wrote a story putting Galactus against DC's heroes! I'll defintely
be looking for the next chapter, now if only we finally got to see that JLA/Avengers
crossover.
Thanks! And writer DJ Ferris has taken your advice and is now working on a JLA/Avengers crossover... see, we listen to your comments! --James Pedrick
