TITLE - Countdown to Destruction
This issue is all about Adam Warlock trying to pull a possessed Drax the Destroyer out of a cosmic portal and relieve him of his Nega-Bands. By doing so he has foiled Syphoon's plans for the time being. There is no real fight between Warlock and Drax in this issue as the cover states. Warlock shows that his emotions are getting the better of him. Therefor, I assume that all the work he did in the 70's to control himself has not succeeded.
It saddens me when I can't think of anything good about a comic.
The art is horrible in my opinion. It is like watching Saturday morning cartoons. I
also don't like the plot or the dialog. It is like a twelve year old wrote it. I'd give
examples, but I don't want to spoil anything. The characterization is all off. Adam
doesn't act like Adam, Gamora is not herself, and Pip isn't funny. One more thing, I hate
when covers are dishonest.
