TITLE - How Strange My Destiny!
The story starts out with Warlock, Thanos, Pip, and Gamora fighting 25,000 religious
fanatics called the Black Knights of the Universal Church of Truth. It's one heck of a
fight with a cool pile of bodies. Warlock, Thanos, Gamora, and Pip's power is not infinite
so they have to escape after a short while. The only way to go is to the sewers, but
Thanos didn't make it and was stuck fighting the remaining Black Knights and everyone else
on the planet. Adam Warlock and his pals run into the Matriarch who is paying for her sins
(she deceived the Magus). She dies in Warlock's arms. Then Thanos appears(he escaped the
hordes by teleporting himself out of there). Thanos and crew hot tail it to Thanos' space
ark "Sanctuary." Meanwhile, the Magus finds out it was Thanos whom was his
secret enemy and follows the In-Betweener to find out where Warlock and friends are. He
finds out and rushes to the space ark to confront Thanos. Back on "Sanctuary"
Thanos tells Warlock about the only way to stop the Magus....suicide. Complete destruction
of his soul.
P.S - There was a history of Thanos in the middle of this comic as well. Told by none
other than CAPTAIN MARVEL.
Woo Hoo! I really liked everything about this issue, and the Thanos history was the
cherry on the top.
The only thing bad I can think of is that I accidently ripped a page scanning a frame.
