Warlock explains to Thanos the little that he knows of why Thor has gone insane. Thanos accepts curing Thor as a challenge. His instruments show that even in a catatonic state, Thor is subconsciously drawing power from the power gem. Within three hours he will be able to break free from the pure force construct surrounding him. The next step Thanos does is change the Valkyrie mind construct into energy using Dr. Strange, Moondragon, Warlock and his own instruments. Attempting to put her back into Thor's mind, they are all transported into Thor's mind. Thanos soon realizes that Thor was playing helpless but now in his mind, he releases a power surge trapping them in psychic maelstrom of his insanity. Thanos tells everyone to combine their wills to be free of the lunacy that Thor is trying to drown them in. They escape back into reality and the Valkyrie disappears back into Thor's mind. Thanos' instrumentality explodes and they have less than two hours before Thor can break his prison. Warlock decides they have no choice but to take Thor to Odin.
