ADAM WARLOCK
MAGUS
TITLE - THE DARK MIRROR
The Magus and Warlock talk about his incarceration in the soul gem. Although a peaceful place, the gem has only served to further infuriate the Magus. Being only a facet of Warlock, the inhabitants can neither see, hear or touch him, effectively giving him a solitary confinement. Warlock apologizes for giving him such a harsh punishment and tells him if he helps him defeat the Goddess, he will pardon the Magus and integrate him back into Warlock's soul. The Magus rejects Warlock's offer and begins fighting with him, thinking if he is the victor he can escape and use Warlock's body. After some exchanged blows, Warlock begins asserting himself and defeats the Magus soundly! He leaves realizing he does not need the Magus to battle the Goddess. Though he is deprived of good and evil, he is still whole, and he is still Adam Warlock.
