TITLE - DEALING WITH THE DEVIL
Mephisto restates his offer of giving them knowledge of the cosmic containment cubes in exchange for one cube. Warlock vehemently opposes the bargain, but Thanos agrees to it and gives his word. Mephisto then reveals that the cosmic cubes can give the holder/user omnipotence just like the Infinity Gauntlet could, but that it required one to overcome the will of the sentient being that was in the cube forming - a universal will. Warlock then goes to attempt to talk to Eternity to find out how the Goddess will reform everyone's will. What he finds startles him as he exits our reality plane and encounters Eternity and Infinity merged as one. They reveal that they care very little about what the Goddess is doing and send Warlock back forcefully to his reality. Warlock realizes what the Goddess plan is and transports back to the Thanos' ship where he dismisses Mephisto off the ship and answers Thanos query of it being time to plan by telling him he already has a plan and it is time to act. Warlock then places the soul gem on Thanos' forehead and the gem immediately takes Warlock's soul into it, flooding Thanos with Warlock's memories. Thanos then realizes the plan.
