TITLE - THINGS PAST
Two strangers, a mystic named Darklore and his companion Meer'lyn, find Warlock lying in a corridor of dimensions in a deep coma. They attempt to communicate through his soul gem to learn what has happened to him. The soul gem gives an edited history of Warlock and then attempts to enslave Darklore as its new host. Warlock awakens out of his coma in time to stop the gem from taking over Darklore. Realizing he is lost, Warlock asks Darklore for guidance to get back to his dimension. Darklore replies that he has a quest of his own but that he can take him to a strange phenomenon he encountered previously that his mystic senses tell him is connected to Warlock. He casts a spell, opens a portal and takes Warlock to what is apparently a rupture in the plane of reality. Warlock realizes that this must have been caused by misuse of the reality gem and that the guardian of the gem must be trapped within the rift. Darklore tells him traveling into this rift is probably a shortcut to his dimension and Warlock agrees. They say their farewells as Warlock leaves toward the rift, but Darklore's mystic senses tell him they will meet again.
