Galactus pleas to the Living Tribunal to allow the gems to be used in unison again. The Living Tribunal states that because of the previous judgment, only Eternity can allow the judgment to be reversed. Galactus then infuses Gamora with himself and enters Eternity's body attempting to cure him for the current catatonic state he is in. Gamora, resisting and futily unwilling to be a pawn, recalls an episode of her life when she was abused as a child. With Galactus' help, Gamora finally frees Eternity, and Infinity springs out of him. No longer needing Gamora, Galactus ignores her and turns his attention to Eternity.
