TITLE - ABYSS
Demons attack the Watch on Monster Island. They are impervious to mental, physical and spiritual attack. Finally Warlock remembers a power of the soul gem that brings forth the truth of a soul. Adam gambles that these souls are from the dead and he is right. These blasts can stop the demons. The Watch helps give him time to use this power on the demons. After Warlock defeats them all, Count Abyss introduces himself to Warlock and tells him he wants what Warlock has and will obtain it reasonably or forcefully. Warlock replies that he and the soul gem are one and that he will not part with it. Count Abyss disappears and the Watch find a stranger that has washed up ashore. Gamora identifies him as the man from one of her visions standing over Warlock's dead body. Immediately, she tries to kill him.

It looked as if Count Abyss's army could have defeated the Watch if they just pressed
on , but for some reason Abyss ceased his attack
