The heroes land and begin fighting their religious counterparts. Dr. Strange (G) defeats
Vision and Mr. Fantastic, though his partner Windshear (G) is defeated. Beast, after
taking a beating from Captain America (G) defeats the Scarlet Witch (G) and Cap (G) with
Iceman's help. Maxam defeats Sue Richards (G) and Hercules (G) but loses Rogue in the
process. Iron Man defeats the Black Knight (G) and Archangel (G) by using Speedball as
bait. Meanwhile Thanos transports Warlock to an unknown place. The fight continues on
Paradise Omega as Guido and Firestar encounter Spider-man (G) and Puck (G). Firestar and
Puck (G) take each other out while Guido takes out Spider-man (G). Sleepwalker (G) takes
out Torch and Darkhawk. Gamora (G) takes out Rage while her partner Quicksilver (G) takes
out Cyclops. Aurora (G) takes out Lorna Dane and Northstar without needing her partner,
Shaman's (G) aid. Guardian takes out Daredevil (G) while Wolverine takes out the Living
Lightning (G). Gamora (G) takes out Thrasher and then with Sasquatch's (G) help defeats
the Thing also. Meanwhile, Thanos begins preparing to fire a giant laser at the planet.
Continuing the fights, Wonderman (G) takes out Guardian. Wonderman (G) then targets
Wolverine and gives him a good beating before Maxam comes from behind to take him out.
Storm (G) defeats Iceman and US Agent (G) defeats Beast. Aurora takes out Speedball while
Quicksilver takes out Iron Man. Thanos blasts the planet but the Goddess reforms it and
sends the feedback to the giant laser. Thanos transports himself and Xavier down to the
base of the Goddess as D-666 explodes. Gamora (G) and Wolverine battle. As Maxam prepares
to battle Sasquatch (G), the Hulk comes flying down from his fall from orbit and lands on
Sasquatch (G) taking him out. The distraction allows Wolverine to stab Gamora (G) in her
stomach with his claws. US Agent then takes Wolverine out, though immediately he is in
turn taken out by Maxam. Thanos, meanwhile observes the Goddess and begins attempting to
get through the shield around her Cosmic egg before it is too late. It seems as though he
is too late as the sun goes nova and one by one, all stars begin to explode in the Milky
Way.
