Thanos contacts the Silver Surfer and explains to him his part in Warlock's plan. In the meantime, Moondragon's group prepare a bomb to deliver to Avenger's headquarters but when they deliver it they find no one is in Avenger's headquarters - meaning they must be headed to attack Paradise Omega (the Goddess' home base). Warlock searches for the Magus. Thanos appears to the heroes and coordinates with them to help provide a diversion. They in turn are providing Thanos' diversion. D-666 arrives and Warlock begins to set the plan. He orders the Silver Surfer to absorb as much Power Cosmic as he can from the sun and direct himself to Paradise Omega. The unleashed destruction of this living bomb should pose a distraction enough for the heroes to get through. The diversion succeeds and Moondragon sends Thor to guard space. Thor quickly destroys two quinjets and the heroes enter life pods and land on the planet. Drax and Hulk fight Thor in space but Hulk's jet pack gets destroyed and falls toward the planet. Before all pods land on the planet, Thanos contacts Reed and requests on pod to remain in orbit for him to gather information. Forge and Nomad are the chosen to stay up. Warlock finds the Magus, who is expecting him. The Goddess' side prepare to attack the heroes as they land, teleporting to key strategic places as the end game begins.
